Hey guys....I haven't really updated you all on what's been happening. Most of the girls are bred...we are just waiting to see if the kids come back into heat. Bella is due in Jan, Fool is due in Feb, Flicka, Precious, Brook?, and Lark? are due in March. The ?'s are for the kids....we'll know in a couple days for sure. They are all bred to Rebel, except for Fool who is bred to Money. Perfection and Money have been sold...they will be leaving at the end of the month. So, that leaves us with 7 breeding stock and 1 freezer wether. We have a microscope that is coming, so we will be able to fecals. I am excited about that...silly I know, but it will help us with herd health. Not that anybody has been sick, but if the occasion ever arises...it will be good to have. And also to see how our dewormers are working.

Last, but not least, the most exciting thing that's happened with the goaties is......we reserved two doe kids from Quarter Mile!!!!!!! WOO HOO! My 1st choice is Quarter Mile Mulieke's Maylin(if some of you remember...my choice was between her and Fool and Nicole decided to keep her) and Kastdemur's Mojito. My 2nd choice is another Mulieke daughter...bred to the same buck, but I am not sure which one will be my 2nd. One is out of Fool's sire, LakeShore EX Summer Sin, and the other is out of Kastdemur's Freelance. Mom's 1st choice is Quarter Mile Mellon's Mable bred to Mojito...her 2nd choice is a Sin daughter named Splash's Sundae. Maylin is gorgeous, but I don't have any milking pics right yet to show you guys.

Here is Mable at Nationals this year...I believe she was 15th or something like that...maybe it was 12th...I forget.

Here is a link to Mojito's dam, Kastdemur's Misha, http://www.mktdesigns.com/kastdemurs/misha.html Who was 1st place 2 year old at Nationals! His littermate sister, Mardi Gras, was 2nd place Int. kid as well. She can be found on Kastdemur's Jr. doe page.

And here is Faylin, Flicka's dam and Rebel's paternal sister. I am deffinitely keeping a doe kid out of that if I get one! Faylin was 6th place two year old at Nationals.

Oh yeah...and there will be a new buck in the spring. Not quite sure as of yet what his breeding will be or who he will be from. We are looking at two different places. So more info on that to come....
