Went out to check on goat with knot on her jaw and it had ruptured. Not a thick toothpaste consistency...the discharge was more like liquid soap and white. Sprayed the are on her jaw with iodine spray. Gonna try to find a vet in this area to come look at her.
Yes. lanced and drained it. Said he would test and let me know. He said he didn't think it was CL because of the consistency and the smell. He told me to keep her isolated until I heard from him and to let the wound heal. So I guess I will find out in a few!!! Until then she is in a pen by herself and not very happy about it!!!!
well i hope the vet is getting it tested an not just saying "not its not" Hope you get a negative test result
