Vacuum Pump help needed

I purchased a used milking machine. I ordered all new attachments so I am starting out clean. I am now looking at the vacuum pump and I have no idea what kind of maintenance I need to do - i would hate to wreck it by starting it up without oil or something critical. It is a Flaco model L-170............does anyone have one? Hoping to get my hands on a manual if possible. Not finding anything on the internet, i tried emailing the company but no response so far.
