Will a bucks "voice" change as it grows older?
I have an Oberhasli buck that is about 1.5 years old

His name is 'Valentine', but Id like to change it to something more manly
Im a Game of Thrones fan and I liked the name Drogo for him :p
Looking at him physically, it suits him perfect. Nice long thick beard, trim cut and tall..
Thing is, he opens him mouth and still sounds very much like a baby.
Bleh heh heh heh
My does sound more manly

I would guess that they do. I have a young Nubian buckling about five months old. I bought him at 2 months old and his voice has gradually been changing deeper.

Absolutely. Just as humans, with hormonal changes come voice changes.

What an interesting question! I've had Puck and Apollo since they were 3 months old. They are now 2 years + change and I haven't noticed any change in their "voice", but neither one of them are particularly vocal either.

Hahaha, he's just so handsom I think he deserves a stronger name, his personality just won't allow it though. Hes a little more independent than the girls, but you can call him to you and he's like puddy in your hands..

Maybe larger breeds develop slower so he'll be finishing maturing over the next year. Right now he kind of lookes like he's an awkward puppy with long legs
