Because Im going for breed improvement I decided to get a tank. I really dont know much about them but I know what Im looking for in a tank. Sites to cheap priced - bit good quality new and/or used tanks appreciated!

    Tank stats:

    - Storage. The more straws it can hold the better! 500+ please.
    - Weight. not important, it wont be transported often anyways.
    - Nitrogen hold time. The longer the better, I dont want to re full it every 2 months.
    - Canisters. 5-6 preferred.

Much other then that isnt important. This is my first tank so please no dented, duds or leaking. Fair priced also preferred, Depending on price may buy now or beginning of next year.

I think Charlotte of Pine Shadows Farm is selling one and it has Alpine semen in it too. Not sure of the specs though!

Everyone - Im away from everyone, thats why I started goats because you cant get a decent dairy goat around here (IMO), Even though the tank is expensive, I figure in 1 kidding season I will have my money back. For example, the tank posted is $545. Add say $200 for AI equipment and 10 $20 ($10 straws are not uncommon) straws from star bucks for a total of about $945. If all 10 does take, you should have atleast $1000 from the 10 kids. so If my thinking is right, It should work out and be cost effective for us because no buck feed or vet bills until a great AI buck is produced.

Bebop - is the person a Member of TGS?
