I need a buck ! I'm not desperate .. yet. But I do have that "worried" feeling since I'm currently buckless. Worried about finding a nice one in time for next breeding season. Which I realize is a ways off, BUT ... I still have that empty stall feeling and figured I'd atleast put the word out that I'm looking. I would really like a pure blood buck, either Nigerian Dwarf or Pygmy. I have pygmy does, a nigerian x pygmy doe, and a nubian mix. But I love the colors of the nigerians ... so while a pygmy buck would be ideal, I'd still consider buying a nigerian buck if he's really nice. HOPEFULLY all my does are pregnant. My first babies should come in March. If I have a really nice buckling born, I might even consider keeping him and line breeding. But just in case ... I figured I'd post this and see if anyone has anything of interest to me
Well ... I'm not LOOKING looking ... And I do plan to see what bucklings I have born. But I'm still curious if anyone near me has anything of interest I actually did find a few bucklings and doelings for sale that are nice and a variety of colors available. So I am THINKING things over. But I'm not desperate. Just getting curious since I have 0 bucks now. Thing is, If I get a buck, I need a wether, or another buck to go with him. So I'll have to buy two, or atleast keep one of my own. So even if I do find/buy a buck ... I still may keep one of my own since I need two together anyway. lol
Julie, do you want to add "moonspots" to your herd? I still have Bambi's baby boy, he's adorable, choc/random white/moonspots. Have a wether available too.
