Weak kid

Did you give him selenium? Did you give him B Complex orally in the first 12 hours? Is he nursing ok or are you bottle feeding? Are you weighing him daily with a scale that weighs in pounds and ounces or pounds and tenths of pounds?

We have given him some selenium but no B complex. He seems to be nursing fine and his mom is constantly nudging him to nurse. We just started weighing him yesterday and today and he seems to be gaining weight.

Is he still breathing fast? How do his lungs sound? What is his temp. I’m concerned he may have fluid in his lungs, if so he needs antibiotics.

his lungs did not sound great last night so we are taking him to the vet today. We’re worried he might have pneumonia. Update later when we know

we took him the the vet as soon as we could, he has pneumonia in his right lung. We have been giving him a small amount of gatorade every few hours for sugar and electrolytes. The vet gave him antibiotics and us a shot to give him on the 6th and some anti inflammatory. He has been staying inside with me all day to stay cool so the heat doesn’t make him worse. He was on deaths door yesterday but made a comeback and is doing ok today, has a whole lot more energy but is still sick.

he got exceed which is good for 5 days and on sunday he will get another dose

Yes exceed stays in the system for 4 days..he should have a booster on day 5. Glad he's responding!!
