Well this sucks!

    Sorry I have not updated this we have been swamped lately. It actually turned out to be a snake bite of all things. Took her into the vet and she took one look and knew what it was. We tested anyways because I wanted to be certain. The lump was located on a classic CL spot on her jaw/neck line. The vet gave her some type of shot I dont remember now, but the swelling was gone in few days and she was jumping around acting normal.

    That is wonderful. So happy it was not CL.

    That's great it wasn't cl! I don't suppose you know what the inside goo looked like? I'm dealing with a possible cl case myself, but I also have 3 species of snake on my property, including copperhead.

    I never got to see what they drew out as they took her to the back. I just know it was not the cottage cheese look as that is what I asked about. I believe that a copperhead is what bit her as they are very common here. Matter of fact we killed three small young ones about 3 weeks ago right in one of the buck pens.

    I could call my vet and ask if you would like.
