I was wondering if there are any definite signs that will tell me when my kids are fixing to be kidded.

well....do you have breeding dates? that is always helpful.

If so I start watching my girls around 140 days checking ligaments (they run from the base of the spine to the base of the tail in au upside down V pattern) when they are very loose or gone I know babies are only hours away.

Also I check for their legs to go "posty" this means instead of their hocks turning in a bit they look straight. - there is a thread about this in the KIdding Koral (its a sticky so you should be able to find it easily there are pictures there).

The does udder will start to fill and then usualy gets tight and "strutted" teats fill up as well.

She may or may not start nipping at her sides, talking to the baby or stand and stretching.
