OK, now I'm just befuddled. My doe, Cupcake spent all day Wednesday with our new buck. He bred her at least twice. She was all lovey with him. But today my other doe was all over Cupcake so I threw her back in with him. She stood for him twice and then wanted out of his pen. What is going ononder: There's no way she was in heat for 6 days is there? It just seems so soon for her to come back in. Any ideas??

They can have a heat 5 days after the first one.

I had two does do that this year. It's not unusual, at all and is just a five day heat. I would just write down both days and see what happens in 3 weeks

Some does will stand again 5-7 days after the initial breeding, just mark down the breed dates and most will have settled with the second one
