Oh geez I’m so sorry you had all that damage! I wish I was closer to help you clean up😢Well we had some damage, going to call insurance. The house had shingles, and siding blown off. Even our standing Metal Mailbox was blown over. One chicken run was demolished, a small shed was blown apart. The awning was broken and tore down. Leaves are all gone now!😂🤣 So far the trees are cleaned our, and standing. The poor little goats had trouble today, and laid down alot. At least it was Sunny & warm. Im glad the wind has stopped blowing. Ive heard several Semi trucks were blown off the roads, and some overturned. It was a rough day today.
Glad it basically missed you and you had no damage. Praying for everyone in the storms path.Last night’s storm brought a tornado to my county (5 miles south of us, so we’re fine) and even where the tornado went through , everything appears fine. No major damage done. The storm we just had with straight line winds did a lot more damage than this one, so it must not have been a powerful tornado. Thank goodness. Today is supposed to be windy, but not the spinning, sucking kind, so we should be fine. Lol.
Glad you're ok. It was an F2 by the time it came through here but missed us. A few limbs down but also agree last week's winds did more than this one. Thank you ! We still have strong winds but can handle it. Just got 10 bales of hay from the coop and they are a bit damp guessing some rain blew into the semi trailer they were in. going to let them sun dry before putting in hay shed but they will get eaten before they can grow anything . Can't wait to get new barn done and inspected so I can just have some nice Kentucky hay delivered. my hay guy said around May 10th will be the first load. planning to move more dirt today and dads going to pick up half of my sliding for the barns front side Wednesday. normally a 1 day turn around is longer due to storm damage and lots of people having to redo roofs.Oh @FizzyGoats and @DDFN , Im so glad you are both safe and no damage. Thankfully today no winds, just sun. That will make clean up & repair work alot easier! Stay safe you guys😘
We had those a couple days ago..it’s miserable. I’m glad your filly got some comfort food to make her feel better…silly girl@FizzyGoats are you having these 55 mph winds right now? My big filly just freaked out rearing and screaming. had to give her alfalfa to "ease" the stress lol silly filly
It's unreal. It blew dad's coffee cup over full out side. Hahaha the filly clearly didn't think she had enough yet. Thus is why I call her Prema for Prema Donna. sometimes I think she needs a tranq dart lolWe had those a couple days ago..it’s miserable.
