I am new to the goat world ( my first year) and I did have a bad kid crop, and only got 3 live kids out of 4 does. but this is one that did survive and is doing well, but since I don't really know what I am doing I don't know what I should sell him for. any suggestions would be a great help, currently I am asking 150. is that overpriced? I am not sure if I got the picture posted right or not, but I guess I will see when I post it.
He is beautiful & 150 is NOT over priced.
3 live kids out of 4 does is a concern. Do you have any ideas why?
Have you changed anything in your management?
You can tell he is healthy and well cared for. For here that's a little high for just market price.....BUT always best to start high and work down. So I would keep at $150 which might be right on in your area and if no one calls slowly drop down. You could also go onto Craig's list and see what others are selling goats for and adjust one way or another.
