I'm getting a buck from this doe, she's a top ten, and the OBA's first ever Golden Bucket Award winner: http://www.haycreeks.com/Susan.html
She's bred to a really nice Tonka-Tails buck.
She appraised 88+EEV and her current DHI is: 4-00 291 3740 2.8 105 2.8 106
What do you think of her? I'm really excited. She's due in March,
They have very nice animals. How exciting! My daughter would love to have an oper or an ober lamanch cross. They are so pretty. All the does and kids I saw on their site looked very nice.
Those are some nice looking Oberhaslis. Tonka Tails is a really good herd to. My folks had some Oberhaslis for awhile-but decided to sell them and focus just on their Saanens. I do have a couple mini oberhaslis that are related to the ones that she sold.
They do have really pretty goats. When it comes to goats(esp obers) I am SUPER picky and their goats really impressed me. To bad their RGs aren't American though, they are even nicer!
I'm not sure, it doesn't say anything about it on the Scorecard but I've found that the heavier milking does tend to have a bigger 'system' of veins on their belly.
