i am going to go to town on monday, and i need to get syringes for CD/T and tetanus antitoxin, and i cannot remember what gauge to buy??? the CD/T is for the big girls and the TA is for castrating the boys if it makes a difference.

I use 20,22 and then for one of my sissy goats I use my insulin syringes. But it does depend on what your injecting.

I'll use a 22 for sick tiny tiny newborn kids, but 22s are a pain for me because I use oxytet as my general antibiotic and its really thick and hard to get through a 20 needle, let alone a 22.

I like the longer 1 inch over the 1/2 inch, although it does require more care when doing sub-q not to nick the muscle.
