So I’m really obsessive about knowing how many kids a doe is carrying, and I’m trying to guess Lily’s amount. From withers to hipbone she’s 17” and at the widest part of her stomach she’s 39” but she’s been eating for 3 1/2-4 hours so ik her rumen’s beefed out a bit.
I heard “long” does hide kids better, so I’m trying to guess based on her size as well as her length. She is 111 days along.

I don't think there's a way to know how many kids a doe has besides ultrasound?? send a picture, her girth around the stomach being 39 sounds pretty big but I can't really guess without seeing it Lol. from what you've said i would guess at least two, since she's a ND I wouldn't rule out three

Does carry SO differently you really can’t tell. I have one that looks like an explosion at 3 months, and others not big at all. The @ explosion “ has always had twins, and my slimmer doe triplets…. Never really know.

I kinda hope she only had twins 😂 her udder kinda freakin sucks. So small. I made predictions a couple months ago and I guess triplets. 2 chocolates and white, one black and white, 2 does 1 buck. 2 polled 1 blue eyed

I wonder if your predictions are true! if her udder is that bad you might have to bottle feed and bucklings that like to pig out of the udder Lol.

Width doesn’t really say anything here… just be patient and track her during subsequent kiddings.

Width has nothing to do with it. they can have a TON of pillow fluid or they can look small and have quints packed in there. I had a FF doe kid quints when I was pretty sure she'd only have twins MAYBE triplets and then the other way. I had this doe in the picture, as wide as she was here, kid twin does that were average sized.
