That's not too early. All does are different, most first fresheners will start about 6-8 weeks out, but some will wait until just before kidding. Older does especially like to wait until right before they due sometimes to start an udder.
hmmm... I'm talking about prior to kidding, not sure on the OP but if it is after breeding then I would be assuming the doe is due sooner than you think or you are like me and seeing things
