I am getting papers ready to be sent off and trying to figure out this little girls color. I think the light tan color will darken to her mothers color (light buckskin) as she was the same color as a kid.

So maybe a broken buckskin w/black mark on face

not feeling the buckskin... thought she may be abbreviated buckskin.. havingthe facial markings and the dorsal, but lacking the cape

Yeah, she is a cutie and the only the second doe we are retaining this year. I have everything done on her papers except description. She will be registered as a 1st generation mini-mancha.

I love my mini-manchas they have such big personalitys in a little package. I have one doe that when I am through milking her and put her back in the pen, she will run around and flying jumps and leaps off of their spools, like she is showing off.

Audra, I wish I could. Trying to learn goat colors is so confusing, why can they not be more like the horses, and I still have 3 more to figure out the color on.

she is a chamoisee broken with white.
or you can list her as brown, black and white. The registries dont really care

Well there is one for Nigerian patterns but in other breeds not all the same patterns are called the same. Like the cou clair in ND would be two tone chamoisee in Alpine.

So I dont know what the pattern names are for lamanchas.

I believe that the mini-manchas go by the same color patterns as the ND.
