Hey I have lots of the red top tubes and I am always offering 1 or 2 or more to people who need them in small amounts and never really charging for them.

What is a good price to put per tube?

50cents 1.00? what do you all think is fair? Obviously I will keep some for myself but I dont need all 900 of them!

Is what I do when I am "selling" things - take what I paid for them plus the shipping, divide by however many you got in the "lot", then double it.

    So say you paid 9.00 for 100 tubes. You paid 9.00 for shipping - total $18.00. 18/100 = .18 cents each x 2 = .36 per tube. So round to 50 cents a tube.

When I draw blood for a person - I charge $5.00 per draw which includes the tube and syringe/needles and never had anyone squack

yup I know what they cost me I did the math that way :) - but I want to know what is a fair amount to ask for someone who wants to purchase some.

I want to put them up in the forsale area or when people say they need some I can offer for them to purchase.

they are easy to mail because they are plastic instead of the normal glass

If you had said 1.00 each for the ones I got from you Id been happy with that also.
In small quantities 1.00 each is reasonable for me.

id rather done that then spend buy a pack of 100

I only ever charge what I paid for the tubes.... $0.17.

  13. Well, if you are up in the air over .50 or 1.00, how about .75 and meet the middle? Sounds fair to me...
