Just wondering what you all think is an average oldest age that a Nigerian Dwarf doe can safely breed and have kids?

thanks

wow, that's awesome! Good to hear! I've had some tell me 8 years or 10 years and I thought that sounded a bit young to stop breeding and having kids. I have a doe with really great bloodlines in her and she's 6 years old so I was hoping to get as many litters as possible out of her as long as she is in good health.

Many start the retiring age at 10 but as long as her health is good and she kids with ease, she should do fine. I have a few getting up there in age. I watch for bounce back after kidding, how well they raise their kids and maintain condition, and of course kidding its self, is it getting hard for her?
