We have been having weather the past week now in the 60' and 70's during the day and lows in the high 30's and low 40's. But during the day poor Gambit has so much long hair he pants all day. I really want to shave him so I can get some new pictures of him for my site but I don't know when would be safe to shave him down? When do you usually start shaving them? I could buy him a blanket to wear if it gets cold.

I already shaved everyone last week, was having the same problem. I look at it like this-you can get them warmer with blankets, but you really can't cool them off as well with all the hair.
