I have always heard and done two months, meaning they are completely (or at least mostly) dry by then. I feel it would be too stressful on a doe to still be lactating in her last month of pregnancy.

Okay, two months it is! 🙂 I'm going to miss milking for two months! I don't think I'll know what to do with my freedom again! 😅 And I sure will miss their milk. We've frozen as much excess as we could, but not two moths worth. I'll have to stagger their breeding betting next year.
