I'm not sure if it matters what kind, but I use the triodine-7 and it has worked well. I think I got it from Jeffer's online but I wouldn't recommend them because it took weeks for me to get it.

oh okay! i might just do that, cuz my goat could kid in as soon as a week so i dont want to have to wait for something to come, i'd rather just pick it up somewhere to make sure i have it on time lolI got mine from Walmart. It's povidone iodine and it's 11% but that works too.
