I figured it was time to post some updated photos of Pace and Melino. They are getting on very well, though the bitterly cold weather isn't particularly appreciated by any of us. There is also a disappointing lack of snow, but I don't think the boys mind. Today the temperature shot up to around 40 so I figured it was a good time to take out the camera and have a bit of fun.

A faraway view of the pen

Melino says, "Let me out now!"

    "please?"

"Rawr!! Are you scared yet? Now let me out!"

The remains of the christmas tree can be seen behind melino. He had to work for his dinner in this instance, and dragged the tree all the way to the pen with his harness
    [IMG]

Pace makes an appearance (though I'll admit that he looks slightly demonic)

"look at my cute little nose, how can you resist setting me free?"

Finally I opened the gate and released the beasts!!

Melino wasted no time in teaching a particularly pompous twig a lesson it wouldn't soon forget
    [IMG]

Pace, on the other hand, just enjoyed the scenery
    [IMG]

Do you ever feel very small?

Of course not! I am a BIG goat!

Pace says "Does my shadow make me look fat?"

"Why yes, yes it does" Melino remarks cooly
    [IMG]

"Fine, I'll get some exercise, then!"

This does not last long, however, and Pace quickly stops to join melino for some grub
    [IMG]

"I have a gorgeous beard, no? You know you are jealous."

Melino pretends he did not hear this comment... he actually is growing a beard now, but it's still a stubby goatee, and has no hope of competing with Pace's bearded glory
    [IMG]

After an afternoon of exploring, they are lured back to the pen with the assistance of peppermints and are surprised to find themselves contained once again. Until tomorrow, little guys.

Always nice to see your boys Emily, glad you could share.

They sure do know how to warm a person's heart with their antics...and the way you caption the pics is awesome.
