So I just finished the three day round of herbal wormer recommended at fiasco farms. Today I noticed that one of the doelings has clumpy poo and there were a couple of little white worms in it :shocked: . I'm guessing these are tape worms based on older posts. My question is; does this mean the herbal wormer is doing it's job? Should I dose them all again with it? Or do I have to go with something like Safeguard? I was hoping to go natural, but if I have treat differently, I will. Thanks!
The herbal wormer can cause live worms to be expelled...I would watch for a couple days and then have the vet do a fecal exam to see if the herbs were effective or if she needs something stronger.
Sounds like it is working. Most wormers paralyze the worms so they cannot resist the peristaltic movement of the intestine and are expelled.
