Bought a sad, little, scruffy, young, chocolate brown, one horned Nigerian dwarf at an auction -she looked so terribly deficient, I had to take her home. When I was loading her, her one good horn crumbled off and bled like crazy, poor thing -that was in late May. I had been looking for a brown goat, and there she was -we named her Brownie. She got the deluxe treatment -Replamin dose for a few weeks and free choice minerals which she loved! Quality hay, pasture, sunshine, fresh water and little bit of my boss/alfalfa/grain mix daily and lots of love. I ordered some copper and gave her 3 mg early July. So a few short months later....here's my little Brownie...most of the brown has grown out,now I think she's actually black and white! I can't believe the difference!
