I have a polish chicken that seems to have developed wry neck. I have never felt with it so I’m freaking out. I read that you should give them selenium and vitamin E. I didn’t have anything for chickens but I had a gel I bought for my goats I didn’t know the dose so I just gave her one notch on the syringe which is probobly like 1 ml. Is there anything else I can do to help her?
Poly vi sol infant vitamin drops with no iron. I am not sure of the dosage sorry. I think a dropper a day. It is a thiamin and niacin deficiency that causes it. You need make sure the bird is able to reach food and water. Sometimes it helps to make a wet mash of their food until it resloves.
