to those of yall that have made goats milk yogurt. Which starter do you use, or do you just take a few tbs of store bought yogurt?

I use either a glob from a past yogurt or a belgium starter i think it is. It is a tad more sweet which i prefer. I got my starter from cheesemaking.com.

We also like more of a greek thickness to it. Someone on jere said drop a few drops of rennet in the milk right before you pour it into cups and stir. It works beautifully and no straining it to get the thick that we prefer here. I do pour off the top stuff when i take it out of the cooker but it still leaves just enough to stir back into it.

It is a tad more sweet which i prefer.
Does it make the yogurt really sweet or just a little bit? If you cant tell, i havent made yogurt before lol ;)
I dont like yogurt real sweet, cause i love to add some honey to my granola and fruit and yogurt for my breakfast :)
