These goats can produce black wool as it is called. It sheds a lot especially when combed which can reach up to around 20 to 40% regardless of age. In the region of Uzbekistan, particularly within the state farm of Baisun, there is about a goat herd of 10,000 goats and deemed as one of the best sources for getting black wool. Its wool goat industry has been highly profitable and also cost-effective all at the same time.
