I went and volunteered with my kids for a 4H valentine dinner fundraiser. The kids were running tickets and dinners from and to cars. I was stuck in a kitchen helping to plate up boxes of pulled pork, sourdough rolls, veggies and baked potatoes. And a heart shaped cupcake. lol
Yes, I did buy dinners for all of us to bring home once we were done. That’s all we really did 😊

I had a super fun Valentine's Day! I don't have a BF or anything, but I went with my sister and several of my girlfriends to a coffee shop where they were having a buy one get one free sale on mochas! I got a white chocolate raspberry mocha and it was sooooooooooooo yummy! We drank coffee, chatted and played Telestrations 😆 and it was a blast, lol! Then my mom made a special Valentine's dinner for us and she also put together the most amazing Valentine's themed dessert charcuterie board. It was wonderful! 😁😋🤤 After that we played Scrabble, but we made it super challenging, where we could only do words that had to do with Valentines or romance. It was pretty hilarious and really fun! So I had a fun day and now I'm exhausted, lol! 😅 😴

Thank you! The fireplace was what sold us on this place, back in '18, but it is dead (🤬), so I fill it with wood, in case of emergencies. Then, I stack the hearth as full as possible, so we don't have to go out when it's crazy cold, like it will be, for the next week or so. Hubby has had 9 heart attacks, one was set off by exposure to the cold, one by exposure to heat, so in the extremes, I do what I can to keep him indoors.
