Yay for eggs!! My buff orp pullets are almost 27wks old. I have two 2yr old buff orp/barred rock crosses, who (last week) finally got back into the nest, after their month-long staycation, and the ducks started laying here & there, about the same time. But, today, there were 2 bigger eggs (from my 2yr olds), and 3 smaller eggs from the (finally) graduating-to-hen girls. The chickens are finally keeping up with us, and soon, we will be drowning in eggs! W000t!! First thing I'll do with the extras is lime 'em! Start filling the pantry, again.
