Bumps on nostrils

We have a ~3 year old wether with bumps on his nostrils.

Based on research seems like possible causes include:

  • Bug bite / some other sort of injury
  • Orf - but his lips seem fine and so far his doe companion is not showing any signs
  • Probably not urine scald as he's not a buck and does not successfully pee on his face, but he does sometimes bite/itch at his genitals, so maybe some urine contact?
  • Another post here said their buck gets bumps around the nose and it's fungal, cleared up with Tinactin

What do you all think might be the most likely culprit?

We've been cleaning gently with warm water, following up with a dab of Neosporin.

Maybe a form of staph. I see tiny pimples there. Try cleaning 2x a day with chlorhexidine and boost immunity as suggested. I would also add Fresh raw garlic to the immune support.
Check everyones behiney area as well. If he was sniffing around..and it is staph..he may have got it from one of the others.

Hadn't thought about staph, thanks all. This actually makes sense, because its been looking better past couple days so the antibiotic (neosporin) I've been putting on must be helping clear the staph. I've also started putting a little chlorhexidine on the wet cloth I clean it with - not trying to use too much since it's near his nose/mouth.

Thanks again!
