Id get his temp and give him some b complex and probios.

 

Any chance he could have gotten into anything toxic?
Is his left side normal or is it bloated and hard?
Any white clover he could have eaten?

 

I'd be ready with activated charcoal and bloat treatment. Depending where you live, fall frosts change the chemical makeup of plants and can result in poisonings like prussic acid.

 

Okay, I don't thinkt there's any way he ate soemthing toxic unless it was in the hay. He isn't right now, I just went outside and he had a lot of foam and then he shook it off. I'll take his temp, but he's acting okay

 

Is the hay from a different load than what they were eating a few days or a week ago?

 

Some goats just produce a lot of bicarbonate naturally and they’ll foam up when chewing their food or cud but it’s always better to err on the side of caution.

 

His temp is 103, sowmtimes it says 103.5. His left side is hard and when I press on it it kind-of gives way, like a sponge. I think that's bloat? But then I felt everyone and ALL of them have hard left sides... maybe I'm feeling the wrong side? I felt the left by standing behind them.

 

The left side is the rumen. I would give him soda baking soda in a water drench, or pepto bismol. Both will help frothy drool.

 

Clover can cause frothing, if new hay has some in it, could be the issue.. I would do as suggested and give baking soda drench then leave some out free choice a few days. See if that helps.

was he choking on pellets? When I see one foaming I lift their chin and rub their throat downward to try and clear the block. It usually works fast.
