Some questions?

Are you wanting to start a dairy or just have some milk for yourself?

Meat goats: are you wanting to sell them for meat , breeding or show?
Registered or not with either breed?

Depending on what you want to do, will depend of how many acres or farm type needed.
If you are wanting a dairy farm, I would get one with a dairy type setup.

If you are wanting goats for meat, you will need 25 acres or more, depending on how many goats you are wanting and money you are wanting to bring.

Boer/ Nubian is a good combination, I had in the past. Good milkers and good meat, fast growth and pretty to look at. I had a FB boer buck, breed to full nubian's and Nubian crosses.

If you are wanting show boers, start out with quality and you won't need as many head to make good money.

With meat goats for meat, you make less per goat, and need volume of goats to break even or make a profit.
