What birthing, growth, udder ligament development, and other long-term affects have any of you experienced as the outcome for a 50- 55 lb, 5 month old doeling being accidentally bred or similar?

Good morning and welcome to TGS.
I’m really interested in answers to this precise questioning as well! My bucks (sire and sons- 1/2 brothers and nephews to my does/ doelings) got into my doe pen and I’m trying not to worry.

First off, confirm whether or not she is pregnant. This can be determined if she comes back into heat approximately 21 days after the breeding and/or last heat cycle date: or with a blood test at least 30 days later: or with an ultrasound at least 45 days later.

What generation Mini is she, or what bred(s) and which are both her sire and dam? There is a wide difference between the sizes of a standard Lamancha and a Nigerian Dwarf. Is the weight given estimated visually only? What breeds of goat would the possible other sires consist of?

How wide is she between the Thurl's? Is she long in body length?
Is she physically mature or does she still have the appearance of a kid goat?

Have you taken measures to beef up the buck pen to make sure the males can't continue to escape again during this rut season?

Thank you for the welcome!

I have not noticed her go back into heat but it’s my understanding that with how young she is her heat cycles may not be regular just yet so no she is not confirmed bred but I have ordered an at home blood pregnancy test kit that I am awaiting in the mail.

She is and F3-5, both parents are mini lamanchas, as well as her 1/2 brothers in question as potential sires.
She is narrow but looks the most mature out of all 3 doelings (the other 2 could be bred as well for all I know at this point but she was the only doeling with a messy back end when I found the bucks in their pen). The weight given is an assumed actual weight, as I weighed her 2 nights ago and she was 55lbs but this is almost a month past when she was potentially bred so I subtracted 5 lbs.

The buck pen is secure- it was a case of one of my daughters who feeds the bucks not locking both latches. We have put measures in place to prevent it from happening again in the meantime until we can fulfill our plans to create a separate exterior gate to their pen.

I have read and been told information that spans the gamut on what I might be able to expect- from death of mother and fetuses to everyone being completely fine. Most of what I have read or have access to from others’ advice is on either ND or standard breeds.

Let us know what the blood test shows please. Hopefully it’s negative 🤞
I try to wait till my girls are 100# prior to breeding (full sized Boers) but I did have an accidental breeding of a 5 month old. She ended up having a single buckling and I only slightly assisted.
So your girl could be ok, and handle being a mom. Or things may not work out… you can use lute to terminate the pregnancy if test comes back positive.
