I am looking for a scale for my goats. I have one to check weight on small goats. But I want one to check on my bigger goats. What is a good one to get.

@HoosierShadow has one for her boers I know. Maybe she’ll jump on with a recommendation and @ksalvagno has/had one too I think So I’m sure she can help out.
For babies, I use a sling and a digital luggage scale and just tare out the weight of the sling.
And they have a scale kit that I bought and we made for the cows that is cheaper. The kit is a little over whelming just looking at it but support with this company is awesome! They walked us threw it and helped with a few trouble shooting issues. They also carry all the parts if something happens…….like the goats chewing the cord and the dog taking off with the display lol
I bought mine off of Amazon. It maxes out at 350 lbs. Its lightweight and easy to use. All I can remember the add had a green trimed box with a golden retriever on it. It cost less than an $200, at the time I bought it. A few years ago.
I have one I got from SmithCo that I really like. I've use it to weigh my goats, dogs, and miniature horses. Really sturdy, easy to use, and accurate, and it has wheels so you can roll it around.
No problem. I know sometimes things are crazy. I have large breed goats. .what type of goats do you have?
