Hi all! Posting this for a friend, wondering if anybody else has any ideas? Thanks!

“Hi. My older doe who is 12 is not eating well the last couple of days. Her temp is 102.2 this morning. Famacha is very pale pink so I think she could be anemic so I started her on vitamin b complex and red cell about two days ago. She is not chewing her cud so I feel there may be something else going on. She has some diarrhea so I also have her on probiotics . What else do you think I can do?”

For additional info, she is not pregnant, was dewormed with Safegaurd 5 weeks ago, no coughing/wheezing and no bottle jaw. I’m guessing something like coccidiosis is at play but always like to get more opinions. Thanks in advance!

Good idea, thanks! And yes she is going to get a fecal done.

Thank you, I’ll tell her! Since she is anemic, it must be a blood-sucking parasite at play like barber pole worm, right?

Good advice on getting her supportive care. .

Wild orange essential oil is what I use once a week in our fight against BP. But it takes time for that cycle of life to be cut off. To address parasites now..I would do at least oregano and wild orange, but if available,, a DigestZen blend and lemongrass is good. Ince the fecal is done we can do Oils that may address those specific parasites. In the mean time..Tummy Tamer can help sooth her tummy and address some of those parasites

1 teaspoon each
Cayenne pepper
Ginger
Cinnamon
Clove
Slippery elm
ACV
Molasses
20-30 cc water...blend smooth with 1 or 2 garlic cloves. Drench 2 to 4 times a day
