Feeding Popped Milo

Has anyone been feeding popped milo to their goats?

My current feed is

4 parts oats
1 part BOSS
1 part milo
1 part yellow peas

Free feeding loose minerals

LOTS of great browse.

They are doing really well on this. Gonna see how well this winter when browse is down a bit.

I was reading a small amount on feeding popped milo to cattle and horses. It is supposed to make it easier to digest and you may feed less.

I am also gonna feed a bit to the chickens because they are my special babies too, LOL.

Just trying to make things cheaper and hopefully better for my gals!

I used to add milo to my parrots diet. I am not familiar with it being popped. Like popcorn?

Yeah. You pop it just like popcorn. It even smells like it, lol. I soaked the seeds in water for a little while before popping. You get a better pop rate then.
