I have a 12 1/2 year old doe that I found when I got home Thursday night. She was down with her head caught in in fence. Head and neck were very swollen. She has been down since. Treated with dex. the banamine, and today thiamine and b complex.
I have tried to help her up, but she seems to not be able to stand. She is eating and drinking, but not getting up. I am open to suggestions, but know I am running out of time to get her up.

Is she laying flat, or on her sternum? If flat, she needs to be on her chest, prop her up with anything sturdy at hand, hay bales, plywood, etc.
Eating and drinking is a good sign!
As far as standing on her own, they need to use neck and shoulders to stand. If she's really sore, maybe strained muscles, that may be the only thing keeping her down. Time is the best healer for that.
That said, a sling under her chest would be helpful to get her up, a doubled-up sheet, knotted at the top, and possibly tied to a stall door or other upright to help her remain standing...
As far as other treatments, others on this forum may be able to help more.

She is alert head up just laying down. She remains in a normal laying down position head up following what is going on today, and crawled to a new position. This evening it looked like she tried to stand, but can't yet. I tried to find help to get her up today if only for some relief for her, and so I could work all her legs, but I didn't find anyone available.

Awe..poor mama. Try a large towel as a sling. Pull under wide and help lift her up and support her. A second person can make this easier but i have done it alone by pulling all 4 corners together.
If unable to get her up yet..floor PT can help...start by massaging her legs then use the palm of your hand to push up on her hoof pads as you move the leg as if walking....do all 4 legs but really focus on the ones she struggles with.

Best wishes!!!

I don't think she is going to get better. Even when I can get get her up she doesn't straighten her front legs. I have been working her legs each day, but all she can do almost a week later is crawl on her knees with her butt up. She is beginning to get congestion in her lungs even with the every other day dex suggested by the vet. I believe I am growing closer to a terrible duty Saturday if she doesn't get up in the next two days. It breaks my heart that this happened to her especially so early in her retirement.
