There are buck aprons you can put on. Do a search on buck apron for places to purchase them.

 

Extend the fence and put up a hotline.

 

Thank you, we have done that,we have a hit line top and bottom of the fence. The fence is also 5 ft 5 high with barbed wire also top and bottom. He still gets over and he is a dwarf goat. We have thought of tethering him but we can't catch him.

 

Tethering him can be extremely dangerous and is not recommended unless someone can keep eyes on him 24/7. You have to worry about predators, him getting tangled and choking himself out etc. It is just not a good idea to tether unsupervised.

Hot wire will do no good if he is clearing the fence. He has to have at least one foot on the ground when he touches it in order for it to shock him. Put hot wire as hot as you can get it at shoulder height. It must be charged HOT.
Barbed wire is just going to result in a bigger problem when he jumps that fence and doesn't clear it enough and gets a ripped undercarriage.

 

is he by himself? have you seen how he gets out? does he use a corner post? or does he just hop on over?

 

Maybe an enclosed dog kennel inside the doe pen? So he has company, but can’t actually get to them.
you’ll have to catch him no matter what you try next…

 

Can you move him to another area away from the does, with a higher made fence, so he doesn’t see or smell the does?

Get him a buddy like a wether or buck to mingle with.
