Will goats eat Trifoliate Orange (Bitter Orange, Hardy Orange)?

My parents are considering buying a piece of property - beautiful, rolling land, and just what they've been looking for - but it has some Trifoliate Orange (Poncirus trifoliata) growing in the woods. This plant has very long unpleasant thorns, so it would be nice if we could clear most of it out.

I was thinking that if goats will eat it, I could cut the plants off near the ground and just allow the goats access to the new shoots until the plants die. Of course this would only work if the goats like it. Supposedly people can eat the fruit (but it's bitter), so I'm guessing goats would eat the leaves. Has anyone seen goats eat this?
