Agnes still needs her pep talks. This poor girl just always wants her mama. I’ve never had one take being separated overnight so hard.

Archer is getting better. Still not much fur on his tail or hind end but enough he doesn’t look bald any more. I have to brush him every day. One day I couldn’t find him. He was snoozing in the middle of a bunch of goats lounging around. One by one they got up to see what I was doing and I finally found him. 😆 Of course I didn’t get a pic of him hidden behind the goats because I didn’t see him, but here’s when most the goats had moved and I spotted the white fluff of a dog hiding from his daily grooming.

Here are some pics where you can see that his fur is finally coming back.

And pic of Miko’s happy face.

The goats probably made a deal with Archer that they would hide him… but then got worried they’d end up not getting treats if they stuck to it! Did they have a guilty look on their face after they revealed they’d been aiding and abetting him? 😂
Jokes aside, I’m glad he’s doing so well now! 😊

Archer does sort of look like a muppet. 😆

The goats are basically hanging around the barnyard during the day as I’m letting one pasture rest and have the horses in the other. So I usually open up the little area that’s attached to the horse shelter for the goats to romp around in if they want while the big mean goats (horses) are away for the day. I don’t know why, but they love going in here. They must think the horses are such fools to leave all the yummy acorns behind. Its hard to see, but there are goats all spread through the little pasture.

But I do love when it’s dinner time and they all come up to the barn and I get to see the cute little goat line up at the the feeder. Isn’t funny how there are certain points of regular chore time that, for whatever reason, just bring us joy?

That pasture is usually closed off to them but I leave it open when they’re grazing around the barn and wood piles and such as an extra little space to explore. They don’t have to go in there but they seem to like that they have access to it. And I do love when they eat side by side at the feeder. It’s so cute. Even though the other side only had one goat on it. 😆
